yashima world of warships
The lower part is 350 mm thick and heavily sloped and the upper part is 340 mm thick, also with a slop that can prove itself to be useful against penetrations through the bow.For the cheeks, I guess that by now, everyone knows how they work.
I'm well aware of that Haze , but my is its paper and there using a historical ships name, they couldn't come up with anything original. Take a second to support The Daily Bounce - WoT & WoWS News, leaks, and more! They can overmatch 35mm of armor, that's it, but yamato could already do 32. Why are you trying to break the game balance and create demand. on Patreon! Same. alternate design, um wg super yamato was japan improving the yamato design, for anyone wondering thats A-150 or as know in battlestations pacific as "Asashi"
Shouldn't you guys think about the game balance first?
That reload time is hilarious.
So with Yashima announced, I guess H-44 is next? Also, the Yashima has the problem of having a much longer reload of 35 seconds. This version would have kept the 510 mm guns but this time, limited to 6 guns in 3 twin turrets. Support The Daily Bounce - WoT & WoWS News, leaks, and more! I'm kinda fine with the rest, but we'll have to wait and see where this ship will end up (not the research bureau please). I suspect she will be decidedly less useful than Yamato.
I knew it wargaming would put this in the game..it was a matter of time.. A-150 design. People had been proposing Super Yamato as far as I can remember, but everyone felt it had a snowball's chance of happening. OP, please explain how Yashima wil break game balance, since she'll overmatch virtually nothing Yamato and Musashi don't. Perhaps WG should downtier it! You guys keep doing this because you know how long it took to balance the aircraft carrier? If you want to lulz overmatch and delete BBs Yamato already punches that ticket. So once again WG are pinching the name of a Historical Battleship for another paper ship, why am I not surprised. There aren’t many platings that can effectively resist her. When it comes to the super high armor threshold of 170 mm… for now, I will wait because I highly expect that value to go down. Shouldn't you guys think about the game balance first? Not everyone leaps for their calculator at the first opportunity.
Yeah, this ain't gonna be better. It has better AA for sure but IJN AA breaks with just looking at it so does it really matter? In World of Warships, the Yashima presents what would have been the “Modernized Yamato” A-150. [WOLF3] The 510s dont even cross any threshold in overmatch either, dont forget.
This design would have basically been a modernized version of the Yamato-class and if Japan ever went through with it, they would have most likely completed already laid-down hulls. [MOOW]
My personal guess was that it’s a coastline somewhere but I really can’t find something that corresponds. If anyone on Reddit knows what/where it could possibly I would really appreciate knowing the answer.you are wrong – its proposed project A-140F7 ( Yamato ) and nothink more.
Secondaries are not an improvement over Yamatos. I don't think 51cm beats any meaningful thresholds over 46cm and both it's broadside and it's DPM look to be lower than Yamato. There are a few differences that I will detail during this small analysis. The bow is protected by 32 mm of armor with the exception of a part of the deck that is 50 mm thick.
As these shells need to pass through a thick armor to detonate, there will often be over-penetration when lightly armored target is hit. Secondaries are not an improvement over Yamatos. The biggest portion is protected by 32 mm of armor except for the deck above the hangar that is 50 mm thick. The citadel’s athwartship is also the same as the one at the front. It does indeed seem a bit ehh for a tier 10 ship. This page was last modified on 4 March 2020, at 16:11. Start by writing properly and then we can talk.Liked it? 6x510mm guns alpha against 9x457mm kinda evens out, anything you would NEED to overmatch with 510mm you can do with 457. The battleship has shells with high damage and very good penetration, but not the best ballistics.
Well... Uh what...? Ohio/Thunderer gives a whole different feel from the tech tree counter parts, Yashima just looks like more of the same, and arguably worse.
So that leaves you sacing 3 guns and reload for some AA??
Especially considering she has both slower reload and weaker damage than those two.
As is stands is just a worse Yamato (maybe even worse Musashi) because it just shoots way less shells into the enemies without being more tanky, accurate or real any other real advantage.
That reload time is hilarious. This would have been completed by a secondary battery consisting of multiple dual-purpose twin turrets with 100 mm guns. The design was later revised as it was judged too large and too expensive so it was brought down to the size of a Yamato-class. Seriously? You may say that super-yamato has no effect, but it's wrong for you to keep making it a premium ships. Yashima is an alternative project of Yamato, armed with 6 510-mm guns and modernized AA defense.
