undefined index: path_info

I uninstalled the 2 (mbstring, php-mysql) and restarted but it does not work.....BLAH i am confused! There must have been a bug in one of my packages when I ran yum update a week and a half ago. So the bug must be in one of those two packeges. This change was made to comply with the CGI specification that PATH_TRANSLATED should only exist if PATH_INFO is defined.
