I'm listening to it right now. I think the problem is, in Hans Zimmer live, the solo performances were stunning, but the bigger performances with layers lacked the players required to really bring the oomph out of the pieces. It's the same material, but slightly rearranged.I have to say, I like the presentation of the Electro Suite on here.

Everything just blended together, especially when Russell added her vocals during the climax.Im sorry but mixing orchestra with rock is nothing new or original... it has been done before by loads of people and the sound is very commercial and not at all what I like about Zimmers music.

So good I purchased a Polk audio powered subwoofer to go with my Polk audio 4A monitors and I could not believe the sound! Later on, towards the second half of the concert, the Sound was good. The album version is mixed uniformly, but in the blu-ray I noticed a focus on instruments (and especially the choir) when they appear on screen. With Hans Zimmer, Yolanda Charles, Michael Einziger, Nick Glennie-Smith. The orchestra seems too recessed and percussion in some tracks are over pronounced but its still and enjoyable listen. Does anybody know what is right?
